Between Us
Siblings retrace the journey of their parents, who hijacked a plane in 1970 to emigrate, leaving their family divided.

Three siblings embark on a summer journey to the former Czechoslovakia, confronting a family trauma that has marked their lives. In 1970, their parents hijacked a plane to escape the country, leaving behind their one-year-old son Ruda. Now a successful businessman, Ruda meets his sister Stania, who was on the plane as a child, and his younger brother Rudy, born years later into a broken family. Together they revisit painful memories, each carrying a different perspective on the same story. Their journey is not about uncovering the truth, but about sharing, questioning, and seeking reconciliation. The film explores how personal choices can fail, how deeply trauma can echo across generations, and how healing may still be possible.
